1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to YeboPro, an AI-powered lead-generation platform operated by YeboPro (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2026/289609/07) ("YeboPro", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa. YeboPro provides a digital service that delivers verified service leads to registered trade professionals ("Pros").
By accessing or using the YeboPro platform, website located at www.yebopro.co.za, or any associated application (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" means the YeboPro website, web application, and all related services.
- "Consumer" means any person who submits a service request via the Platform.
- "Pro" or "Service Professional" means any registered individual or business that purchases Credits to access service Leads on the Platform.
- "Lead" means a service request submitted by a Consumer that is made available to Pros who have purchased Credits.
- "Credits" means the digital product purchased on the Platform by Pros, entitling them to access and accept Leads.
- "Trust Score" means the numerical score assigned to a Pro based on identity verification, competence, and performance metrics.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under South African law.
Pros must be legally entitled to offer the services they advertise and must hold any applicable licences, certifications, or registrations required by South African law for their trade or profession.
4. Account Registration
To access full Platform features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. YeboPro is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.
YeboPro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
5. Pro Verification and Trust Score
Pros are subject to an identity and background verification process. This includes identity document verification via Home Affairs records, biometric face matching, and fraud screening through the South African Fraud Prevention Service (SAFPS).
A Trust Score between 0 and 100 is calculated for each Pro based on three pillars: Identity (30 points), Competence (30 points), and Performance (40 points).
- 90–100: Verified Elite (gold shield with upgrade marker)
- Below 90: Verified (gold shield badge, awarded after identity verification)
- Unverified: Pros who have not yet completed identity verification
Pros found on the SAFPS fraud register will be immediately suspended pending manual review. Pros with a job completion rate below 50% may be hidden from search results.
YeboPro does not guarantee the accuracy of any verification outcome and is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on Trust Score ratings or verification badges.
6. Credits and Payments
Pros purchase Credits to access and accept Leads on the Platform. Credits are purchased at the rate displayed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Credits are non-refundable once used to accept a Lead.
The cost of accepting a Lead is determined by a two-layer pricing model based on the job value band and the service category floor price. The system applies whichever is higher.
Credits are sold in bundles at the prices displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase. Bundle sizes and prices may be adjusted from time to time at YeboPro's discretion. The Trial bundle is limited to one purchase per Pro. During promotional founding periods, YeboPro may at its discretion offer bonus Credits on qualifying bundles. A maximum of five (5) Pros may accept any single Lead.
Payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to the payment provider's terms of service. YeboPro does not store card or banking details.
Unused Credits do not expire and hold no monetary value outside the Platform. Credits may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Please refer to our Refund Policy for the circumstances under which a refund may be considered.
7. How Leads Work
Consumers submit job requests (Leads) describing the service they need. Relevant Leads are made visible to Pros in the applicable region and service category.
A Lead marked as a "Hot Lead" carries a surcharge of one additional Credit above the standard rate, set at the time of job creation.
Accepting a Lead deducts the applicable Credits and reveals the Consumer's contact details. YeboPro does not guarantee that a Consumer will engage the Pro, proceed with the job, or make payment for services rendered.
Leads older than 72 hours are flagged as stale. YeboPro makes no representation as to the continued validity of stale Leads.
8. Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or when submitting or accepting Leads.
- Solicit Consumers off-platform to circumvent the credit system after initial contact via a Lead.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users of the Platform.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy Platform content or data.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under South African law.
YeboPro reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any user found to be in violation of these standards, without refund of unused Credits.
9. Limitation of Liability
YeboPro is a technology platform that sells digital service Credits to trade professionals. YeboPro delivers service leads to Pros who have purchased Credits. YeboPro is not a party to any service agreement between a Consumer and a Pro and accepts no liability for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any service arranged independently between them.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, YeboPro's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the value of Credits purchased by you in the three months preceding the claim.
YeboPro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including the YeboPro name, logo, design, software, text, and graphics, is the intellectual property of YeboPro (Pty) Ltd and is protected under South African and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
11. Consumer Protection Act
These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) to the extent applicable. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under the CPA.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
